Teresa Bauernschmidt, WHNP, MSCP
Greentree Women's Health is a specialized gynecology clinic located in White River Junction, Vermont. Teresa started Greentree Women’s Health in 2024 with one goal in mind --- more time with patients.
After working in busy healthcare systems for over a decade, she reimagined a clinic where time, education and preventative medicine took priority.
Teresa graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with her Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2008. She completed her Masters of Science in Nursing from Pennsylvania University in 2012. That same year, she obtained board certification as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP). She spent 10 years working at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center as a nurse practitioner providing routine OB/GYN care and functioning as a specialist in complex vulvar conditions. While at Dartmouth she was awarded the Excellence in Teaching Award for her work with medical students in both 2016 and 2019. In 2023, Teresa became licensed as a Menopause Society Certified Practitioner (MSCP).
ABOUT GREENTREE WOMEN'S HEALTH
Teresa and her husband, Eric, moved to Vermont in 2012 and spent many years enjoying their small farm in West Windsor, where they raised a myriad of animals. They outgrew their home with the arrival of their 3 rambunctious boys from Haiti in 2021 and little Elsie in June 2025. They now reside in Sharon with the goats and chickens (who managed to secure space in the garage and join the family in the move).
Elsie Jean arrived on June 2, 2025 weighing in at 7lb 2 oz. You may see her (or hear her) in the clinic with her Mama!
